I have been allocated cabin 7109 on verandah deck 7 on carnival spirit its last inside cabin at front of the ship underneath the bridge on deck 8
I an wondering what the large white area would be.
I think the pride legend and some other of their spirit class ships have the same plan.
So I am wondering if anyone that's travelled on these ships would know what it would be I will try and put up a plan :)

Its usually half hour or hour after sailing :) we did the maiden voyage last year couldn't get off the boat as the sea was to rough:(
-
I must be dumb I not getting the clues lol
-
Any idea of what could be behind this white space its fairly big

Sorry I can't fix the subject title

Tried to upload a photo but it wouldn't work :(
On the current pacific pearl cruise that left Sydney today for the islands they are trialing the alcohol package :)
$69 per person per day.
My friends are on it but I didn't know this until just now whilst I was checking things for my up and coming carnival spirit cruise so it will be nice for my friends if they can get this and for us for when we next book with them.
Let's hope it works :)

Omg still wish there was a like button on this website like FB
We need these oh my heart just melted moments in our life in this day and age.
-
Its also the same on the legend and a couple of their other ships.
So if anyone has had a cabin in this area I would love to hear what you thought of it :)
-
Thank you it came from the heart:)
There should be a "like" button on this forum :)

Thanks :) Yes I'm pretty happy where we have ended up should be fairly quiet as not many cabins pass us so won't have a lot of people walking past just hope our neighbours are quiet :)
And really happy not to be given an interconnecting room as I have heard they can give you one if those.
Have sailed P&O and Princess so can't wait to try out carnival :)

Going to the Pacific Islands in October I'm so exited just been given my cabin number as I booked 5 weeks ago for a guaranteed inside cabin and was expecting riviera deck 1.
I have been allocated cabin 7109.
I can see that the bridge is above us but..
What is the grey area outside my cabin on deck 7?
I have always been mid ship on past cruises will it be noisy here with the waves and will I feel a lot more movement?
I have read I may hear anchor noise but that won't worry me as I will be awake anyway.
Are there any pros and cons for this cabin?
I wish to book the restaurant and I have heard that carnival don't hold shows every night so one of those nights may be best do you know when shows are not on?
Otherwise if I book early for when we leaving one of the islands will I still have time for a leisurely dinner and make the shows?

I have just been allocated my cabin its number 7109 on deck 7 verandah.
The bridge is above us but I am just wondering what are the grey blacked out areas on the deck 7 deck plan.

My first cruise three years ago.
Hubby gave me an envelope on my 50th birthday it was a two night cruise from sydney to Brisbane on the dawn princess. With a night at my daughters in Brisbane to follow then onto a week at the gold coast before flying back home.
We flew from country Victoria to Sydney my dad took us to the airport and said I will pick you up when you get back.
I was nervous as it was first time cruising but very excited when I found out we had free upgrade from inside to balcony cabin.
I was sitting there enjoying the view when a knock came at the door. Hubby said that will be cabin boy with our luggage let him in so I opens door and heard surprise! And there standing there was my mum and dad and son and daughter! I burst into tears :)
Then when we set sail I was leaning with my arms on the balcony railings and a pod of dolphins started swimming and jumping out of the water alongside the ship I started crying again I was so happy it was the best birthday present ever.
I looked across at darling hubby and he had tears in his eyes too.
We have now just booked our 7th cruise in 3 years and he now says it was one expensive birthday present as we are both hooked on cruising now lol.

Oh wow! It looks OK but looks really scary when your standing at top waiting to go.
I don't think I be able to do it lol

I had a terrifying experience at magic mountain merrimbula one.
I lay my head back too far took on mouth full of water at start then water constantly over my face until end so I couldn't take another breath.
I honesty thought I was going to die! worse as it was underground so pitch black!
I thought I would never get to the end:(
I have been on some at gold coast since and they were fine as they had pretty lights and I had my shoulders and head lifted so water didn't go over my face.
Think I will go on the yellow one and see if I pluck up the courage towards end of cruise to do thunder.
I think darling hubby will try it but he had back problems it occasionally gets put out and I wouldn't want that to happen on holidays.
Thanks for your replies :)

Just wondering about this water slide.
1. Do you have to cross arms feet and put your head right back against slide?
2. Does the water splash up over your face?
3. When the trap door opens and you drop is there any chance you can hurt your back or anything?

Thanks for that I rang princess I on platinum level I have clocked up 45 sea days only another 105 or 15 cruises to go to be on elite lol
-
I cruised my first cruise on dawn princess three years ago.
Since then have cruised 3 on pacific pearl and 1 on pacific jewel.
Would these cruises count and how do you link them if they do and is it work out by adding up how many nights total you have cruised or by how many cruises.
Also it am I right in saying they would only count towards princess and not p&o
Also what's this about shares if you buy shares do you get some perks?
Sorry for all the questions I just learning about all this gotta start somewhere :)
-
We always stay at the Atlantis on Spencer st.
Another good on is travel lodge in south bank bit more pricy though
-
Oh wow sounds good:)
Most cruises I been on are the p&o pearl and jewel so looking forward to trying something different.
Not got a cabin allocated yet so scared and excited at the same time!
-
Cool will try them out :)
-
Oh wow thank you very much never thought about the seas.
I think your right we could have sale away dinner and still enjoy the shows later and I expect the special artists would be on sea nights not port night anyway.
So if we don't get off at Nouméa we can enjoy ship facilities and early shower pre dinner drinks and theme later if on :)

Thanks do you think it would be a quiet cabin or will we hear doors opening and closing all hours and footsteps on the stairs and people talking ?
