1. Hi

If you purchase it online before you cruise, it will be charged to your card at that time.

You can book/prepay up until 4 days prior to your cruise so you can wait a bit...or even just book it onboard..if you have any OBC you can use some do that to pay for it and leave your card some room to breathe until you have to pay for your onboard account at end of your cruise [emoji2]

Yes, you can wait onboard but the price is lower if you upgrade in advance!

  2. They are amazing and in my experience the price is the same in different ports (At least it was b/w Key west and Cozumel). As for them not lasting, they're guaranteed for life by the company. According to them they will replace any snags, tears, wearing, etc guaranteed. They are so soft and comfortable.

Oh great ! The brand I had bought were not this one.... Still slept like a baby!

  3. Don't know about the cruise but I can't understand you not getting a good margarita in Canada. I've had them in Halifax, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.

Ask a few friends or co-workers. I'm sure they can direct you to a place that makes em just the way you like.

I was telling myself the same thing! But we can be surprised every day!!!!

  4.
I just came off the Eclipse & there is no limit! However, I would absolutely upgrade to the Premium pkg just to enjoy the $12.00 martinis in the Molecular Bar! They were amazing . . . all 2 pages of them! It was my favorite bar on the ship, hands down! Enjoy! :D
Lol! Too funny ! So, how many did you try? I am a fan of martinis... And I have the premium package hihi!
  5. Hi, I almost had a heart attack, we count on that card so much. So I called the number for customer service and was assured that our card has no surcharges or fees for foreign transactions.

I SHOULD have mentioned that it is

CapitolOne Platinum Visa (pretty sure that there is a yearly charge).

You do have the 2.5% fee from Visa on all foreign transactions... It is included or added in the conversion rate. You do not see it separately... Everyone has it, it's not charged by the card issuer but by visa ..

  6. I think its in our nature to complicate things. If it's not planned weeks in advance it CAN'T be good. LOL We decided the night before while on the ship that's what we wanted to do and that's just what we did. Walked into a car rental and rented a car for the day. I remember both St. Maarten and St. Kitts were about $90 for the rental. Just needed a major credit card and obviously a valid drivers license.

    I agree!

  7. I have no idea who we used. We decided to do it while on the cruise so when we got to St. Kitts we just went into one of the car rental places and rented a car. Easy and painless. These people live off of tourist so they are all pretty honest and the prices were all compatible. I would do it again. We also did this on St. Maartin.

    Sounds almost too easy!

  8. First time on St. Kitts with my husband and I rented a car and we toured the island on our own. It was great and we were very happy we did this. At our leisure. We loved visiting Brimstone Hill Fortress, great history. Second time with our 3 kids, 14, 17 & 19 and we went zip lining, definitely one of the highlights of our trip, exhilarating flying over the rain forest and looking out over the Caribbean Sea. We did not book this threw RCCL, we went threw a private company. Highly recommend doing either.

Which company did you reserve with?
