We spent 4 full days in Barcelona in 2017 and it was perfect...we spent 3 days in the city and 1 day taking a day trip to Montserrat. -
We had a similar issue and asked our room steward and waiters to use the preferred name...they did happily. Obviously, that doesn't cover all staff, but it does cover the ones you interact with frequently. Another idea off the top of my head...what about putting a sticker on your card that says, 'please call me ____'?
