  1. Thanks! I imagine there would be a dining reservation desk, at least on the first day. I guess I could also change the prepaid excursions to OBC but the prices have gone up significantly. I'm not sure they will honor the prices of my original booking.
  2. That's right. I just want to move the prepaid excursions or specialty dinings to OBC. The first dining is on the second day of the cruise. The excursions are much later.
  3. Thanks so much everyone! Yes, I was talking about the additional dinings and excursions beyond HIA. I'm not sure where I read that there would be a 10% penalty if I cancel the prepaid excursions after I get on onboard. It sounds like that's not the case. I think I will go to the excursion desk first. Mike
  4. Will there be a penalty? I am new to HAL. I have "Have it all plus gratuities" on an upcoming cruise on the NS, and will likely end up with excess non-refundable onboard credits. I understand there will be a penalty (10%?) if I cancel and rebook prepaid excursions once onboard, and the excursion prices have actually gone up since I booked them. What about doing this for prepaid specialty dining? Even a reservation for the second day of the cruise? Also, I assume I can use the Navigator app to cancel and rebook specialty dining once onboard (and the refund will go to the original form of payment and the charge will go to my onboard account)? If that doesn't work, where is the reservation desk on the NS? Thanks very much for your help! Mike
  5. Hi folks, I'm considering a basic balcony cabin on deck 6 or 7. This will be our first transatlantic cruise, and we have not been to any of the ports. Considering the itinerary and season, how would you compare the experience on the port side vs. the starboard side? Any difference at all? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Mike
