  1. I would bet that the OP felt like many do that the item would never make it back to the original owner...like we hear most often happens. Cameras, IPads, jewelry, etc are never found. The owner calls Carnival and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Carnival is not going to seek out the owner. They will sit and wait for a call from the owner.

I applaud the OP for wanting to do more than Carnival would to find the rightful owner. Because otherwise that item is going to sit in some box in some storage closet in a Carnival office and never reach its owner.

I feel the OP had good intentions. And I will bet they will find the owner. Just my two cents.

  2. A group of us stayed a week in Curacao last June. It was a fabulous week. We visited many beaches. My favorite was Playa Lagun. If you are able to get a taxi or rent a car I would highly recommend it.

The area is not big. But big enough. There are some lounge chairs that can be rented. There is a restaurant on top of the cliff. Great food. Drinks. Iguanas. Staff. We had the best time.

The snorkeling was awesome. Saw a sea turtle. Many locals were bringing in their small wooden boats with tons of local fish. It was just a great place to take in some culture with the locals and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the water.

    Highly recommended!!!

  3. We too were booked on Valor for 6/5/16 out of Miami. Now moving booking to Magic out of Port Canaveral for the 6/11/16 sailing with luckily the same itinerary. Less of a drive and newer/better ship. Totally happy with the change. And the $50 OBC for our troubles is nice too.

  4. I have two questions about this cruise.

    1) How often is CocoCay cancelled due to weather?

    2) Do they ever switch up the menus on the 4 day cruise? I took this cruise in Feb 2014 and plan on taking it again in Nov 2015 and wonder if they will serve the same menu?

We were on EnOS on 12/05/14. We were the only cruise in 4 prior trips that was able to stop at Coco Cay. I heard that the next sailing after us wasn't able to stop. So I think it happens a lot this time of year. Not sure about other times of the year. Can't answer #2.

  5. My hubby and I did this excursion in April while sailing on Allure. It was awesome. We each got our own ATV. We had about 12-15 in our morning group.

We rode on the main road to Orient Beach. Nothing off road. But it was fun to drop back a little from the group and haul butt to catch up. It was a thrill.

    I totally recommend the excursion.

  6. #2 - Dawn Beach

A beach is a beach, right? Not exactly. This one was just the right combination of water temperature, waves, number of people, and sand consistency to be just right. Maybe that's the $1 beers talking, but I don't think so.

    Drum roll, please....

#1 - Champagne Bar with Michele, Lucy, and Christophe®

I've long been a fan of the Champagne Bar and have always experienced great service there. So, it's no surprise to me that this ends up being #1. However, the crew here was really something special (perhaps in more ways than one, just kidding). That second picture is for Lucy (you had to be there).

Is this the Christopher you spoke of...

  7. Day 1 Boarding:

Our luggage did not fit under the bed (we both had 25" pieces) but we were able to stack them up in the closet bottom shelf and our tote bags easily fit under the bed.

I found a tip on CC in another review about luggage under the bed. If you open your bag and slide it under it will fit. We had two 29" bags that only fit because I opened them.

Thanks for writing a review. I know it's a big commitment of your time.

  8. Hi Lynda. I have to respectfully disagree about the boardwalk being stuffy and uncomfortable. This has rarely been the case during my 3 Oasis class cruises.

Central Park is great but there have been times that there has been no breeze and it can get quite warm due to this area being closed off except for at top.

As for the crew party on the boardwalk, this is the first time I've heard of this happening

I completely agree with Bugsy. We had a boardwalk cabin the first week of April and we had a constant breeze when sailing.

I enjoyed being able to see the ocean and not paying the premium price for an OV balcony.
