  1. Just a quick update for Jordan's fans from the cruise ship days.

He is currently working full time on LAND at "Jellyrolls" dueling piano bar at Disney World in Orlando. He has been working there full time since June of 2016 and loves it!

He really was trying to get on as a guest entertainer on various cruise ships, but when this opportunity came along, he could just not pass it up.

He is getting married to another Celebrity entertainment employee that he met on his very FIRST cruise on the Summit! Their wedding is April 22, 2017 and they plan on making their home in Orlando.

It was really "nostalgic" to go back and read about how many of your cruisers that he really "touched" musically on the ships.

Thanks for all of your support over the years and if you are even in Orlando, go see him at Jellyrolls!

Mike Peterson (Petesfamily) aka "Jordan's Dad" :)

    5. Entertainment: In general, it was a bit better and more lively. I loved the piano bar with the live pianist. He was fantastic. Jordan Peterson was excellent on the Summit too and should have his own dedicated bar like the guy on The Fascination! Play to your strengths! As mentioned before, we loved the comedy. We LOVED The trivia that was offered multiple times per day.

SO glad you enjoyed our son, Jordan Peterson. He is loving performing on the Eclipse! I agree, he SHOULD have his own bar!!! He is really working on becoming a guest entertainer, and the prospects are looking pretty good!

  3. My husband and I have been enjoying listening to your son's performances ever since he was first introduced at the beginning of the cruise in the theater. My husband and I went again to the Sky lounge last night and sent him the message that his parents said hi all the way from Nebraska. He seemed tickled to get your hello. For all of you future cruisers Jordan is a stand-alone performer that sings and plays the piano each night in the sky lounge.

Thanks for telling Jordan "HI" from us! Hope you enjoyed him!

  4. We are big fans of Jordan Peterson and I was hoping to hear that he was booked on one of the Celebrity ships in the upcoming months.

He is a very talented pianist and a great entertainer. We have sailed with him twice, and really enjoyed his music, performance skills, and great rapport with people. He usually has a crowd around him when he plays in the piano bar.

I am looking at booking a couple of cruises, and I would be influenced by knowing what ship Jordan would be on.

I would appreciate any information that anyone has about his upcoming bookings.

    Thanks!!

Hopefully this does not violate this Celebrity board, but Jordan just posted this to his website: http://www.JordanPetersonMusic.com

"I'm happy to announce that I will be performing on Royal Caribbean International's Majesty of the Seas starting June 8 until July 17th doing 3 to 4 day cruises out of Miami. Come cruise with me!"

    Thanks!

  5. Sorry I missed your post......I know the guy's first names but can't

recall the name they used as their title. But one guy was Nick and the

other Cam. They are definitely from Downunder:)

Yes, Jordan is good friends with 5 o'clock Somewhere. She is actually from Denmark, I believe and he is from Ireland. They both live in London now.

Sorry, I just saw this thread. Jordan is currently vacationing here in Nebraska. He is currently in discussion with some booking agencies and looking at becoming a main stage guest entertainer. Any news will be posted on his website, but as of now, he has no plans on returning to Celebrity this year. Thanks so much for all of the kind words posted on here!! I will make sure he reads them.

  7. According to AIS tracking, the Celebrity Millennium left Hong Kong on Sunday, February 15th, about 2PM local time for Shanghai, arriving Tuesday.

I think the next scheduled passenger cruise is March 1st from Hong Kong.

Who knows what is happening for these two weeks?

    Mike

Our son, Jordan Peterson, is the piano entertainer on the ship and it is being chartered for this time frame by Asian passengers.

  8. I am also a huge fan of Jordan and we enjoyed him so much on our B2B on the Century a year ago.

Do you know where Jordan is going after the Millennium?

We are on the Infinity in September 2015 and it would be such great news to hear that he would be on board. (well, one can hope). :)

His plans are kind of up in the air right now. He plans on doing some vacationing of his own after his contract on the Millennium. That is about all of the information I have from him right now, but things can definitely change!!

  9. Just returned from the Millennium and saw one of my favorite entertainers -- Mario d'Andrea -- and he was energetic and personable as ever. A couple of other entertainers that are the mainstay of Celebrity that I always enjoy seeing are Lindsay Hamilton and Brooks Aehron. Just curious to know other entertainers who are favorites of Celebrity cruisers (besides Perry Grant).

I am a little (ok a lot) biased that my favorite Celebrity entertainer is Jordan Peterson, solo pianist and vocalist, on the Summit and Millennium. Although he is our son, we feel like he is very popular on the Celebrity ships he has been on.

  10. I recently read that Cartagena is listed as the world's third most dangerous cruise port. Can anyone who has sailed there recently speak to this? Did you feel safe while there? We are sailing there in a few weeks on the Equinox and have a tour booked through Celebrity. Is it worth leaving the ship?

I LOVED Cartagena! I never felt unsafe and it was the highlight of our Panama Canal cruise last Christmas. We took taxis to the walled old town city and it was amazing. Not to miss.

  11. Hi Jordan's mom/dad. I just got off the Victory and you asked that I say Hi to Jordan for you so I did. I wouldn't have gone into the piano bar except I wanted to deliver the message. Boy, am I glad I did. What an incredible talent your son is. His voice, piano skills and personality make him a star. You must be very proud! We ended up going to see him every night and that was the highlight of our cruise:)

Glad you enjoyed him!! We had a blast in the piano bar in October when we went on the Victory! Thanks for the kind comments!

  12. My apologies for use of the word "dreadful." However, music is a big thing for me and is in turn very subjective. In other words, just personal taste.

I agree, music is very subjective. I realize there are people who LOVE Jordan and those who don't. I should probably just stay out of it!! Just can't help myself sometimes.

  13. I don't know how anybody could possibly say "dreadful". Jordan was on the Summit last year during our cruise - we purposely headed for Cafe el Bacio every time he was there to hear him! He's very talented and has a great stylistic range. I bought Alicia Keys' "New York" song on iTunes when we returned from our cruise, and every time I hear it on my playlist I think of Jordan's fantastic rendition!

    Thank you.

  14. Agreed on the piano guy. Dreadful. 2 years in a row he has been on the Summit. My 3rd trip is next August.

Maybe they can have CD Ken Mills do stand up comedy instead.

Wow. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. Not sure if Jordan is "dreadful." I am not even saying that because we are his family. LOTS of posts on here about his talent.

But, hey, to each their own.
