We did Chichen Itza but we flew there and back on a small plane. Best way to go! The flight there and back was about 45 minutes. We got to see the site from the air and we got to the site ahead of the crowds. We had a long private tour in an almost empty site and we left soon after the buses started to arrive. The biggest bonus was there was no long bus and ferry ride home, we were back in Cozumel by around 3pm.
There was no issues with safety at all. The tour operator chartered the plane through a local airline. The two pilots were very good. We had our own private taxi to from the airport to the site and back arranged by the tour operator.
May I ask how much an excursion of this caliber costs? Do you have a link to the tour operator?

Here is a 360 Video of the Surfer Flowrider. There is another one on the Starboard side that has boogie boarders. I saw several people wipeout pretty hard! It's funny to watch.

Here are some 360 Degree Pictures of various places around the ship. I think all of these are external shots. Enjoy!

They wanted over $33,000 for this set of Salvador Dali prints!!!!!!!
After the auction I went on a walk about around the ship taking pictures and exporing areas I had not visited yet.
MORE 360 pictures and videos coming soon!

This "Strawberry" cake was INCREDIBLE!!!!
After our lunch, we went up to Boleros for the "Rapid Fire" Art Auction. We purchased a few animation pieces. Nothing crazy. We already collected this type of art.

Really enjoying all of your review! We’ve been on Oasis for a total of 3 sailings, beginning with a B2B in 2012 and a single week in 2015. I enjoy reading a new cruiser’s (at least to Royal and Oasis) perspective. I think Oasis class has lots of the WOW factor.
Meanwhile, we’re taking our first Carnival cruise in a few weeks. We’re looking forward to something new and different—and a bunch of new ports for us.

I am glad you are enjoying! :)
You will like Carnival. We had a lot of fun on all the cruises we took. The thing I liked is that their ships are more in tuned with the "sea". On the Oasis, the "sea" experience is definitely not front and center.

DAY 5 - SEA DAY
We slept in today! It was marvelous. When we finally got up and moving we decided to hit the American Icon restaurant on Deck 3 for a Sea Day Lunch. They offer an option to order off a menu, or they also have a buffet setup in the middle of the dining room.
I chose the buffet. It was amazing! The food was delicious, and they put out a crazy beautiful presentation.
Watermelon Food Art...
Watermelon and cheese art carving... I was impressed...
CHEESE!

Abracadabra...our favorite show we've ever attended on ship. Unfortunately, we've only seen it once...but I continually pray for it to be back on one of our cruises! We abbasolutely loved it!
"abbasolutely" <--I see what you did there! :D:D:D

Thank you for all the great pics! Taking my family on this ship next May for my first cruise in 15 years and love looking at pics of the ship. Much appreciated!
You are going to love it!

I noticed the CPAP on the nightstand. Were you able to plug it in near the bed or did you have to get an extension cord to string across the cabin to the vanity?
Thanks!
Good question! Yes... The room steward set it up for me. There is a plug under the right side of the bed. On Carnival we needed to check out an industrial strength extension cord that draped across the room.

enjoing every moment of your review even though I will be on Allure in two weeks I am sure this works the same way. I just booked the first night done right pacakge and wanted to know how extra did you have to pay for 150 Central Park? Thank You
We originally paid $30 ($15 each). For both of us for 150 CP it was $45 total for 2. So it's an additional $15 dollars. It was worth every penny.

Yes! It's fairly easy to "logout" of one device and "login" to another.
We are on T-Mobile and were able to put our phone in Airplane mode... turn on Wi-Fi, connect to VOOM, and then turn on Wi-Fi calling! We could make calls and send and receive texts. Easy peesy.
Voom on the Oasis was AMAZING!

That night after dinner we went to the Headliner Show. For this trip they had Abba-Cadabra. Yep...and Abba tribute band. I am not a huge Abba fan. But, I know the music. How can you not if you lived through the 70's and 80's.
They were pretty good. I enjoyed the show.

This is the Cruise Director Jeff Arpin... I wasn't sure about him at first. But he really grew on me through-out the week. I watched his show on the TV everyday. He had really good advice about most things that were happening the following day.
This waited for us at bed time! This ends Day 4. Tomorrow (Day 5) is a sea day...then Cozumel Mexico.

When we got back to our cabin we were surprised to find this in our cabin... we had made friends with the Guest Services people! :)
The Disney Fantasy leaving Falmouth...
As soon as they left... they left a Disney Rainbow (I can't make this stuff up)! LOL!

Carnival Splendor (I sailed on this ship previously... we had a good cruise)...
We passed a Jamaica car accident...I am thinking its because they drive on the wrong side of the road...
After an hour and a half drive the port at last...
Here are a few 360 Degree Pictures of the Port Craft Markket area... We bought a nice wood trivet here...

The last stop before returning to Falmouth and the ship was a "shopping" stop at a really over priced place in Ocho Rios. It seemed that all the "tour" buses out this way make a stop here. There were shirts, coffee, knick knacks etc here. Guys out back were yelling to us to sell the DEVILS WEED... you know... {whispers} Marijuana!
The funny thing in Jamaica is that the goats all run free! They aparantly know how to find their way home. We saw this across the street...

After High Point we went a little further East and stopped in a private beach area called "Bamboo Beach". Lunch was not included in the tour. My wife and I ordered a Lobster, jerk chicken, sausage, salad, with dessert beer and water for $22 bucks. It was really, really good! Sadly I did not get a picture of the food.
Here is a 360 degree picture of the beach area...
https://www.360cities.net/image/oasis-of-the-seas-falmouth-jamaica-bamboo-beach
The beach here is nice. They do offer onsite massages. There are a few little gift huts. They kept our tour bus group in on area. A few other tour buses showed up and they kept everyone in their respective groups. But it was not crowded as a whole.
We were there for about 2 hours. The water was nice.

The tour bus took a drive through an area called "Fern Gully". It was really pretty. There were (can you guess) HUGE ferns growing all over.
We then went up a huge hill filled with bus sized potholes to an area called "High Point". It had an amazing view of Ocho Rios below. We were able to see the Carnival Splendor in port there. There were also a few beautiful huge houses above here that you will see in the pictures. One we were told is owned by Mick Jagger.
Here are a few 360 Degree Pictures of this stop...

This picture is at High Point, and you will see me with a local "photographer" (they try to sell you pictures at this stop). He was friendly and was just really interested in my 360 camera.

Here are a couple more Jamaica pictures....
I love this picture...it's one of my favorite pictures I took the whole trip.
I couldn't find the Pot Restaurant on Yelp. I wonder if it's any good? :)
This is the Garvey statue. He is a national hero in Jamiaca.

We just booked our next cruise on the Oasis Of The Seas for the later part of next year. It's a long way off... But it's something to look forward to. :D

I love this guy...he was just chillin' and being happy!
Main Street "& Garden Supplies"
Traffic though St. Anne's was brutal...
I wonder if Mamba Supermarket accepts competitor coupons?
The fruit looked amazing! To bad we were on a bus.

Here are a few more pictures from driving around the northern part of Jamaica...
Of course no town would be complete without a Burger King and a Kentucky Fried Chicken!!!
We did not get a chance to see if the patties here were truly "Juici"
