I buy Starbucks VIA instant coffees ( especially when I sail Princess). Their coffee is made from syrup and has poor aftertaste as well as being watery. Trust me , you’ll love them. Being along a Tervis or Yeti wanna-be cup to carry it in

private-tour-of-saranda-with- an-experienced-private-guide
this is who we ended up using back in Sept. on our day in Sarande port.
You WILL NOT be disappointed.
We had an amazing day filled with beauty, great info, and a phenominal tour guide.
One of the best days of our week long cruise.

While in Skagway, I will rent a car and drive all the way to Emerald Lake. There used to be small horseback riding outfit run by a very nice lady. I don't know if that is still the case.
I did the same. Rented a car and drove to Emerald Lake. Very beautiful drive. Bring your passport. You cross the border!

Yep, only Heineken :( YUK! The wine bar on Poesia had 4 drafts available, but rest of ship was Heineken only.
Crappy drink package.. very little options and the wine is horrendous!

Just an update to prohibited items. I sailed last week. I have a steamer that was no confiscated and some small bottles of liquor as well.
We did come back with a bottle of wine in Olympia, Greece and they took it and held it until the last day... as expected.
I also had battery operated candles in my carry on. No problem.

Has anyone brought a bottle or two of wine onboard MSC in Europe ?

So happy to see some positive Poesia posts. Hard to find much info on this ship here. We do this trip 9/16 if Hurricane Irma lets us get out of FLL... Praying.
Any last minute tips/hints./great finds for this trip would be appreciated. Hubby is concerned with draft beer selections with Aurea Package.. anyone recall what the choices were besides Heineken?

Can someone tell me if there is an advantageous side to book on an Inside Passage Alaska cruise?
Port or Starboard more desirable?

THIS IS CURRENT BOARDING INFO.
Check-In closes 2 hours before the ship departure time.
As a safety precaution, you and your luggage may be searched and any item that the Company considers a security risk for passengers or crew members (such as weapons, alcohol, food, diving knives, kettles, irons, etc.) will be confiscated and not returned. Firearms will not be accepted on board and immediate disembarkation will be required.

Wow had my included massage which I chose to be the hot stone Bali massage which was great. I also pre booked a facial as a treat - what an hour and a half of bliss! ❤️

Kiki,
With the Aurea Experience ( included massage) were you able to book your massage prior to your cruise or did you have to wait and book it onboard?

If you've said a MSC cruise in Europe can you tell me how many choices of draft beer were available?
Is it only Heneiken on draft or were there other options in the drink package?
-
Not all are irons. Something like this is what I always take. No problems!
Great reviews on this one:

How soon are you traveling? Also, you should be able to put special instructions on your laundry order.

Have the Allegrissimo Drink Pkg, but concerned that there may not be a beer on the package my husband will drink.
I see Heneiken is the only bottle available on the package, but it does include draft beer.
Does anyone recall what the draft beer choice(s) is ?
Thank you!!

Phoned MSC today and upgraded to deluxe for a grand total of £84 for 2 adults. Thought being for an extra £42 each we can basically have what we like.
Can you be more specific about the upgrade you did? What package did you have, and what package did you upgrade to?

I ALWAYS carry a small steamer. Have NEVER had issue. Helps with many wrinkles. Downy Wrinkle release has a travel size at Target also. Hope that helps.

Looking at car rentals. There is reference to Old Port and New Port.
Anyone know which port MSC docks in?

When are you staying at Antony Hotel? We have looked seriously at this one also. Are you certain transport to the airport is free? I inquired when looking at booking and was given a reply that said "The property has informed us that it's possible to arrange this for an extra cost."

on Musica class ships what draft beer has been seen being served lately? Basic Drink package is limited in beer choices. Just wondering for hubby what will be available to drink ?
-
So, does that translate to US region cruises will have a choice of draft beer but EURO based cruises can only drink Heineken all week ? I'm really confused!
The Cheers package says assorted selection, but the Allegrisimo says Heineken .
quote=RudiRatlos;51766853]As you found out, most non-draft beers on divina are included in the coming "premium all-inclusive classic" package. Today this package is called "more-for-less classic" and is available for cruises which have USD as on-board-currency.
The similar "Allegrissimo" package is available only in the EURO region: a bit cheaper than "more-for-less classic", thus with a slightly smaller variety of included drinks. "Allegrissimo" will be called "Premium all-inclusive" (without the word "classic" - that will make the difference) from next summer.
Todays "premium" packages ("Allegrissimo premium" and "more-for-less premium", respectively) will both be called "deluxe all-inclusive package" from next summer.
Mind that the standard packages will be called "premium" from next year on, whereas the premium packages will be called "deluxe".
Tracy Arm Questions
in Alaska
Posted
When you did this Tracy Arm excursion from the ship how many people were on the tour?
My booking showed 12 available spots, but now it seems there may be 100+ people on the catamaran.
