I thought it was $25 for the first 2 booked and then the full deposit for any 3rd or 4th passenger. I could be wrong. You could always book 2 and add the other 2 later.

I called and spoke with Johna the other day. I was ready to book a 3 person cabin, but the deposit would have been 250 per person, she said. How about if there are 4 to a cabin - would a 25 deposit or a 250 deposit due right now?

Great News/////////Johna just got an extension on the $25 deposit for Aug 2, 2012!!!

Randy, I spoke with her this morning and she told me it was extended! It is great news!

I may try and book this cruise...and try to get some others to join. Any chance the July 5th dead line will be extended?

I found my "melting chocolate cake" receipe. It is served with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

semi sweet chocolate 7 lbs

butter 7 pounds

fresh eggs 70 eggs

sugar 1.8 lbs

flour 2.5 lbs

Method:

Melt chocolate and butter

mix half egg and sugar and whisk for a few minutes and add flour. Then add balance of eggs.

Add egg mixture to the melted chocolate mixture

Pour the mixture in the "ramekin cups"

Bake directly in the oven at 200 C degress for 15 to 20 minutes

serve with vanilla ice cream in 2 oz ramekin cups

The portion size is 100

Question for experienced bakers: What are ramkin cups and can cup cake pans are somthing else be substituted be substituted?

Yes it does, and I had it and now, cant find it. I found out how to get it from one of the carnival chef's on the night of the gala buffet. He was trying to sell some of the carnival cookbooks, and I asked him if the chocolate melting cake receipe was in there. He said no that it wasn't but that if I ask my waitress, she could get a copy for me.

If I find my copy, I will definately post it here. This may be a good place to guarantee that it does not get lost. If anybody else is going soon on a cruise, please ask your waitor from a copy and then post it if I haven't.

You know what I saw for the first time on the Victory? A bing cherry soup or bisque. It was great. For those of you who have never had it, there was a chocolate melting cake that even my son and his friend wanted. Has anyone had that?

I have never thought the music was to loud on any of the ships I've been on, especially like the lido deck where it is supposed to be loud, or with the shows, etc.

Still waiting to hear more about the "research." And I have never seen anything on these boards that had suggested that it is the popular belief.

Would you have the mango cream soup? I love Carnivals soups / bisques. In fact, there have been one or two nights have have ordered more than one soup / bisqe, and I usually don't like soups!

Going on the Conquest July 24th, (one month away, horray) and i would like a copy, preferably of the Conquest, but I'd take the VAlor's one and try to modify it. You must be one organized and crafty person. I would have never thought of that! May even try to fix one for my hubby and 12 year old son!
