Let's see the guy next to me isn't Diamond.
He pays $200 more than I did for the cruise.
He pays for his drinks.
All things being equal, yes he would tell me they are free.
But how many cruises and thousands of $$$ to get those "free" items. Nothing is free...

I am Diamond. For my upcoming cruise:
We saved $200 on the booking
My wife and I will get 8 free drinks a day (value=$101 per day x 8 days = $808)
We will get our 2 free photos for our collection ($40)
Just those alone are over $1000 in benefits.
I'm laughing all the way to the bank.
Oh ok...and you really think all of that was "free" Sure 😉

Our last cruise was with another couple. We each had a device we wanted internet access. I paid for a "4 device" package using my name/account and all four of us had access on our individual devices. The other couple just paid me half the cost which at the end of the day worked out cheaper by far for everyone.

BTW, Niagara is bottled in Mesa, AZ. I'm sure there are plenty who see Niagara and think it comes from NY lol.
Evian spelled backwards is naive 🤣
...kinda like Arizona Tea is from NY 😉

Their "Loyalty" program makes me laugh. Spend all that money and cruise X amount of times...and we'll give you a can of pop "each"

Money is money. I'm sure they would appreciate whatever you give. No loose change though 😉

It’s because people allow them to get away with it. If more people complained and refused to sit there, there would be changes. I guess having the table so close allows less waitstaff somehow?
We will never accept something like that. When we complained the person showing us to the table she only rolled her eyes. When we refused to sit there, she found us a table that was acceptable. We didn’t have that problem for the rest of the cruise.
We're going to take a look when we arrive to see where our table is since they assigned us a number. If we don't like it...we'll ask to switch and even point to the table we would like. :)

We set sail 10/15 on Symphony and I sent an email on 10/1 to RC (2 weeks out) requesting a table for 2 and this was the response today:
Thank you for contacting the Royal Dining Department. Your request has been accommodated as requested. You are seated at a table for 2 on deck 3 at 5:30 PM, table 166 (subject to change). We look forward to welcoming you onboard!

Sorry to hear. We're also in Phoenix and sail on 10/15. We're flying into MIA a couple of days early to enjoy some time on South Beach. I ALWAYS book directly with the airline. I've been traveling for years and book direct as at the end of the day, from numerous price comparisons, it seems to work out the best. Third party is a gamble. My mother is a cruise specialist TA who always suggests booking direct with the airline. Best wishes!

Do they still offer massages on the beach? If so, what are the current rates?

If we cannot locate a chair where we would like to sit/layout (as we don't rush early AM to the pool) to try and grab the all important perfect chair location (sounds like a Seinfeld episode), we put our towel down on the deck near the edge of the pool and lay on the deck. We've done this numerous times and are good with it. If a chair opens up, then we'll move to it. We gave up on searching for what seemed a long time seeking out that chair and wasting time and getting frustrated. Unless things change or are enforced, you probably won't change others behavior. I'm here to relax and leave the stress on shore.

Outstanding pics and review Benny. 3 1/2 weeks to go for us until we're temporary guests on her.

If they don't have hockey style skates, he may want his own.
I don't know if the skates are hockey or figure style.
100% not hockey.

No cruising out of San Juan right now but that was the case during the summer before the storm. This year no cruise line has a summer homeport in San Juan. That is scheduled to resume in the fall with Royal Caribbean first, in October I think, then NCL, then Viking, etc.
Hoping all is well in PR for everyone! We're scheduled to dock on RC Symphony next month for a short evening visit (4:30p-10p) on October 17th.

$35 (20% off) when I purchased it a couple of months ago, went down to $31 (25% off) today.
Easy to cancel and re-book
The Key on our sailing went down from $35 to $20. We already paid for Voom at $20, so we cancelled the Voom and got the Key. Was a no brainer for the extras.

You can use your own skates but it is very questionable if the effort is worth the weight/luggage penalty.
I was thinking the same thing. All of that effort for a few minutes on a small sheet of ice.

Have you seen pictures on the news? The whole island has no electric power? Some parts of the island has had 30 inches of rain.
Yes. I do watch the news funny man. Like I said. 4 WEEKS from now. A lot can happen in less time than that.

We have a stop in San Juan 4 weeks from today on Symphony. I would imagine, unless there's severe damage, we'll still make port. Time will tell I guess.

Just to share, the full Chops lunch menu is not offered for the Key Lunch in the MDR. The Key lunch includes select items from the Chops lunch menu. Just sharing for clarification so folks wont be disappointed when they see a limited menu. Thanks!
Thanks. I was just sharing the .pdf labeled Chops Lunch. It does look like a "fuller" menu.
