  1. I agree take pre packaged foods, no fruits, we were on The Glory last week and Belize was one port, they never checked your bags going off at all, they have a garbage tin as you exit the ship for throwing away food, but with 4 kids I agree take some snacks to keep them happy

  2. We had the nachos, and iguana eggs, which were real good if you like hot spicey food, then some fries for my daughter, the beer was 3.00 each I think or a bucket of 6 for 16.00 I think, the Pina Coladas were 6.00 I think, the drinks were good, the service excellent

  3. Well we were at the Tropicante last week our group of 8 had a great day, we had reserved 8 chairs, we got off the Glory and followed Steve directions, we were greeted with our name on a chalk board and walked down to our beach side seats, front row, we arrived just as a storm was moving in, Steve took everyone into his restaurant, it was getting crowded so he took us upstairs where we were able to watch the storm come through from his balcony, it was great, it cleared in minutes and back we went, the food and drinks were great, the service wonderful, stayed as long as we could and walked out to waiting taxi's, We would for sure go there again, the price for food and drinks were reasonable,

  4. We are planning on getting the Cheers program, and I understand that drinks over 10.00 are not covered on the plan, is it the price of the drink before tax or after tax that it is calculated at, I see that a classic cocktail with tax is 10.06,

  5. Yeah i will look for a menu, I really dont want to be carrying stuff all around with me, I figure they can eat a big breakfast and then if we need to get some fries or something to hold them over, oh well, it is vacation time, thanks,

  6. We will be making a stop at Mahogany Bay in three weeks while on The Glory, we plan to make it a beach day, are we allowed to take tins of pop or bottles of water off the ship with us? Can we take containers of pringles 0r pre packaged snacks of with us? Just wondered

  7. We were in a Cove Balcony, on the Breeze last week of August last year, we loved it, now we had no comparison as it was our first cruise, but we loved being so close to the water, we would get one again if we could, we will be on The Glory this August, You will be fine, enjoy

  8. Yes blue Heron, sorry about the spelling, I have read on trip advisor that it is very good, the Sports bar is also suppose to be good, you can google to find the name of it and pull up a menu, We are going to be there Aug 15th, remember to sign up for the shuttle to port when you check in, also go for breakfast early it gets real busy

  9. Thanks for the info drewgirl, we are two families 8 of us booked with cavetubin.bz in August, the reveiws have all been good, the price was only 35.00, is that what you paid?

  10. If this is the Comfort Suites on Minola, I hope it is there are places within walking distance, depends what you want, we stayed there last August, we actually ordered pizza and salad in, there were 11 of us, they set up the breakfast area for us to eat, but there is a Mcdonalds and Subway across the road, there is also a IHOP within walking distance and a sports bar/restaruant within walking, they are one direction the other direction is a Perusian restaurant, We are going to try IHOP this August i think, there is also a liqour store within walking that we went to, the gas station across the road sells soda and snacks if you want any for the ship

  11. We had a 12:10 flight last year out of Miami, our travel mates had an 11:40 flight out of FLL, we were on The Breeze, no problem we were at the airport in plenty of time, just do self assist, We are on The Glory this August and our flight home is 11:40 a.m. out of Miami, not to worried,

  12. for the second year in a row, we are flying Delta, Detroit to Miami, Non stop, they were cheapest and flew into Miami, we are paying 250.00 return each, dont; know if that is to much, i hope not, I did shop around, but found most flights went to FLL , it is done now, we fly in August

  13. Oh sorry, I thought they were flying into fort Lauderdale but said they wanted a hotel close to port, i thought Port would be Miami Port, we stayed in Comfort Inn last August and yes it was hot, it was AUgust in Florida, but we swam all afternoon and the kids went in after dinner, we are happy paying 73.00 for three of us with the breakfast and shuttles included, We were happy to stay at the hotel and relax until our cruise the next day, Have a great cruise no matter where you stay
