  1. You will probably get lots of replies to stay on the ship in Nassau, although we like it. There is the Queen' s Steps, Fort Fincastle, Whatley Rum tour, the beach and more. We have taken the ferry to Paradise Island and walked to the Cloisters. Do some research on the destination boards, you'll find lots of info. We missed HMC, the winds and current were too strong. In Grand Turk, Margaritaville is right there, but walk left along the beach 15 minutes to Jack's Shack for much cheaper prices, WiFi and a nice beach. Congratulations!

  2. I appreciate the time you are taking to write this honest, candid review. Your writing style doesn't affect the substance of what you are telling us. Try and shrug off the "corrective criticism" and keep on doing what you're doing. We sail October 17, patiently waiting for the rest of what you have to say.

  3. Just bring a bottle of lime juice & order a bottle of Triple Sec or Cointreau from Bon Voyage also.

Then make real margaritas: 3oz tequila, 2oz Triple Sec or Cointreau, & 1oz lime juice.

Tastes much better than any mix.

Yay! Somebody else who knows how to make a REAL Margarita. I hate it when bars add a "splash" of sugar syrup.

  4. On the first week of a B2B a few years ago we had our eye on the carrot cake. On the first day of the second week we got the first piece. Cafe desserts are far superior to MDR, and no comparison to most of the tasteless stuff on lido.

  5. I have also noticed the watery cheese sauce. I'm thinking that I could get a coffee cup, put some shredded cheese from the salad bar in it, bring it back and mix cheese water in it.

If the cheese water is hot enough it might turn out good. By walking back and forth I may use up about 25 of the 200 fat calories I will be consuming. Lol

And thanks so much for taking the time to do this review. If you talk the way you write, you could be a stand up comedian on Carnival and cruise all the time.

  6. This is new to me also. But it reminds of something I read a few months ago on one of these boards about something else hidden on one the Carnival ships. It was placed by a passenger, with a log for future passengers to sign when they found it. Something like letterboxing, but without a stamp, or geocaching without a gps'r. But I can't remember which ship or where!
