Hey everyone. Just wondering a bit about booking a guarantee and if you get moved into the higher category? Say from inside to oceanview? or ocean to balcony? OR does it just give you any room available?

We have cruised a few times. But just no experience for this thing.

What did you do for port activities? How was the MDR options and entertainment? Did you do any pre or post things?

Hi there, Just wondering about MDR menu's. Are they different if your sailing in Europe vs Caribbean?

Congrats on the scholarship and job for the summer. Glad you back and we can keep adventuring along.

We did the Southern Carib on the Jewel in December 2015 and I think only one night didn't have two showings. A number of the nights were comedy acts and the first one was more family friendly. With the Anytime Dining if your happy to share try to get a smaller table as they seem to move through dinner quickly.

Not sure about the itinerary for the person who asked about EU. We are going on her in Sept leaving Rome and while I have searched I haven't had luck finding any old cruise compass options to preview.

We went to the excursion presentation and won a draw for a percentage off one of the ones we chose. Not sure i would have attended the presentation just for a win option but we did find it helpful as we didn't do any pre trip research and figured we would do it all on the ship.

I won a spa raffle previously and as mentioned it does come with restrictions (signature service only) we weren't aware of this and booked a service. After the treatment found out it wasn't eligible to use the certificate for.

So rule of thumb now if nothing else is going on or we are going by at the proper time then yes but not worth going out of our way for.

The Bailey's Banana Colada sounds so yummy. The Peach sounds pretty tasty too I think I know what I will be drinking :).

Doubting we will be hitting the specialty restaurants but looks like their are some fav's of people for sure.

Lol yeah we normally forget that part! We Love the ships with Alfredo's its a great time to hit it on embarkation day. sad that ruby doesn't have one but will for sure be getting as much dining room time and spoiling in as we can. Thanks everyone so much for your feedback.

Are you talking about the MDR menu for that first day? I haven't thought about it. It's not a formal night as some passengers may not have their luggage yet. When are you sailing the Ruby?

I was talking about the MDR menu and was thinking more supper hadn't even considered lunch :)We are just doing the 1 day. So don't get much time to enjoy the dining room.

Sorry, I did nor realize you wanted to booked the same cruise. You may not have to cancel. Just call whoever booked your cruise and ask to take advantage of the better deal.

Yes I probably wasn't super clear. I am still good with the trip I have but always good to save a few bucks when you can.

Yeah the trip isn't until Nov. When i rebook would the cabin i orginally choose be available? or do they take time to go back into availability after the cancellation.

So I booked a month ago with the BOGO offer. There is a new one that just was released and price is less and it's saying $200 OBC. How hard is it to get a price adjustment? Did i make a mistake by taking a BOGO?

Wow that is very awesome. Welcome, and you have picked an amazing ship in the Radiance class. You will enjoy the ocean facing elevators and the awesome patio outside of wind jammer. Don't miss the aerial show. I don't know what cabin category, but may I say I really enjoyed the before the elevators deck 7 cabin big balcony.
