  1. Good grief... Speaks volumes about royals customers that people quibble over a $1! Don't like it, don't go :)

Exactly! All you can eat food and dessert for $5.95 isn't bad at all. I plan on trying the salad when I go with a side of chili and grilled cheese.

  2. I think OP has already more than indicated where she stands. People like that cause the cruiseline to remove privileges - has happened before and will again.

Exactly! Some people just don't get it. U wanna break the rules, don't tell everybody just do it and get caught smh

  3. A lot of people who are active on their roll calls plan parties with the other people on their roll call and will share that information. It is obviously searchable, but on an enclosed space like a cruise ship, the chance of someone using that information nefariously is pretty low. You can live in fear, but then again if you are in the phone book, people know your land line and home address just as easily. It's funny how humans psychologically feel about privacy (so inconsistent).

The reason why I said that is she's trying to break rules and gave out everything a cruise needs to figure out who she is. Nothing more nothing less.

  4. The line of work I do would make people cringe at the type of info I have access to. Not worried about a thing. They'll be making plenty of $$ off my friends and I as we're all purchasing the alcohol premium package. That's $2,700 for 6 of us. Never mind excursions, gambling, and suites.

  5. So my wife has been asking if we can bring little snacks on our cruise in April on IOS. Crackers, chips, nuts, that sort of stuff. Has anyone had any experience with this or just know if we can or not? I wasn't having much luck on the RCCL webpage! Thanks for the help!

Cool we are going to bring some mixed nuts on the cruise. When I drink I like to snack on something light.

  6. Integrity is following the stated rules even when there is a high probability you will not get caught violating them.

some people have it. some people don't. only you know which one you are.

Lol these people have no integrity! Glad you guys don't work with me you'd be fired because of ur lack of integrity smh

  7. The rules seem arbitrary. Two bottles per cabin. Regardless of the number of adults. So a two bedroom rfs with 8 adults gets the same allowance as a single solo cruiser.

At least they allow you to bring something on because they really don't have to do that.

  8. Quick question..read thru all the thread to ensure it had not already been asked and answered.

On the RCL website FAQ, the venues at which the premium...or,presumably, other packages..would be honored are MDR, Windjammer, and all bars and lounges. What about specialty restaurants such as Chops, GT, Sabor, etc.? Has anyone successfully used the package to get a glass of wine at Chops or a beer at Sabor? Conversely, has anyone with the package been denied at a specialty restaurant?

Interestingly, on the RCL FAQ site, one set of Q&A states that all pax in the same stateroom must order the package (old rule); a few questions down, the answer is No, they don't. Nothing as consistent as RCL's inconsistency! :D

And that's why I've asked. Thanks in advance,

I used it at Johnny rockets and had no problem.

  9. LoL. I think we will buy just one ultimate package and compare the savings (or losses) after the cruise. Just tried to purchase online, but too late. Said to inquire on the ship.

I drink a lot of water too. Will they give me an adult beverage and a bottled water in the same transaction? If not, how long do I have to wait to return for additional item(s)?

    Thanx!

One drink at a time including water. What I did was go from bar to bar to get a drink and I didn't have any problems even with a drink in my hand.

  11. Great points. I have received several emails encouraging me to buy a package. Are they the same price whether you pre-purchase or during check in?

Same price! Go for it! It's worth it and you can try drinks you've never tried before and don't have to worry if you like it or not. I tried a martini last cruise and loved it. First one ever. Didn't really care for the high class looking glass but the drink was good lol

  12. This has been debated many times on these boards. If you have 6 drinks @ 8.00 per drink after adding in the 15% tip, you're at the break even point. Even on a port day, how hard is it to have 2 drinks before dinner, 2 with dinner and 2 after dinner? You still have 8 hours of potential drinking time. The only time I would say it's not a great deal is if you're on a port intensive European cruise where you're off ship for 12 hours during the day, instead of a Caribbean sailing where your port time is maybe 8 hours per day.

You're right! I had 2-3 at lunch, 2-3 at dinner and 2-3 while at the casino!! Throw in a couple waters and it was a great deal for me even on the port days.

  13. My cruise is in May as well, just waiting for our passports so that I can put in the computer, I can't print out luggage tags or set sail passes until this info is in the computer, correct?

When do you expect to receive your passports? No, you can't print the set sail because you need the passport number for that. Not sure about the luggage tags. Mine were on the cruise documents
