  1. Heading back into the Clubhouse we see that they also have a Party Room and a Gift Shop….. We enjoyed our time here. In case you were wondering, Patti beat me by one stroke on the first course, and I won by four strokes on the second course. Our plan now was to head over to the Cocoa Beach Pier and have some drinks at the Riki Tiki Bar. When we pulled in it was crazy crowded and they wanted $30 to park. That wasn’t happening, so we went back to the hotel and had drinks at the Mission Control Pool Bar……. At 3pm we decided to head over to Fishlips for dinner and drinks, and to watch the ships sail out….. To be continued……

  5. After breakfast, Patti needed to make a Walmart run. When she got back, we headed towards Cocoa Beach in search of some mini golf. We decided to try this one out….. Not only do they have two 18 hole mini golf courses, they also have a go kart track, an arcade, and even a small zoo…… We’re inside the Clubhouse. We are going to play both mini golf courses.….. And we’re off and running…… To be continued……..

  8. Pre-Cruise - (April 13th) – Another day in Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral. We were up at 6am to a sunny but cool day, and just like yesterday it’s supposed to warm up to the mid 70’s. The ships in port today are the Carnival Freedom, Mardi Gras, Mariner OTS, and Disney Fantasy. At 7am we went down to the lobby for some breakfast. They have two separate breakfast areas presumably one for each hotel, but you can eat at one or the other, or even both if you choose. Patti first got pictures from the Hampton Inn side…..   11. This is the Guest Laundry Room….. This is the Spin2cycle area and gym….. Here are a few more pictures of the Lobby Area….. Patti heads back upstairs and looking out the hallway window see the Allure OTS and Disney Wish leaving port….. We stayed in our room the rest of the night watching television and enjoying some snacks. Coming up next: Another fun day in Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral.
  12. This is the Business Center….. There is a small snack shop right next to the Front Desk. It’s a little pricey….. This is outside by the Pool Area….. This is the Mission Control Pool Bar….. To be continued…..

  14. Here are some more pictures of Room # 535……. From our window we have a great view of the pool area….. Going down to the ends of the hallways and looking out the windows, Patti is able to see the ships that are in port today. This is the Adventure OTS….. Allure OTS….. Carnival Liberty…..   15. We left Ryan’s Pizza & Pub a little after 3pm. It was time to head over to the hotel at Port Canaveral and check in. We took the causeway over to Cocoa Beach….. Looking across the water we could see the Allure of the Seas…… We pass the Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach….. A short time later we arrive at our hotel in Port Canaveral, the Hampton Inn / Home2Suites…… This time we are staying at the Hampton Inn side. Using some of our Hilton Honors points we got a really good rate. We check in and are given Room # 535….. Before I or our stuff is allowed in, Patti has to take her pictures….. To be continued……
  16. Here are our drinks. Patti is drinking the Malibu bay breeze, and I’m drinking blackberry cider….. Patti explores Ryan’s Pizza & Pub……. These are the stairs up to the rooftop bar….. These are the food menus…… We forgot to take pictures, but Patti had chicken tenders and waffle fries, while I had an order of buffalo shrimp and a Jersey thin crust pizza with sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers.   19. A little further down the road we pass the Buc-cees at Daytona Beach….. Three hours after we left Kingsland we arrive at our exit….. Since we are way too early to check into our hotel, we decide to head over to the city of Cocoa and Cocoa Village….. As we usually do, I will drop her off at the Parrot’s Cove which is on the west side of the village, and she will walk down to the east side of the village, where she will meet me at Ryan’s Pizza & Pub….. Patti begins her tour of Cocoa Village….. To be continued……
