Just looking to see how parking is being handled with 3 ships ? Garage, Big Lot across from Terminal or way down the back passed old canvas terminal ? We were on Summit last year and put way down in the back. On Oasis put in lot across from Terminal ? Are they still putting HANDICAPPED only in the garage ? Possibly Liberty too ? Any response would be appreciated. Sailing on 5/21.

Anyone eaten  in Coastal Kitchen on Anthem recently and asked to see  New MDR menu if there was nothing on CK menu you liked ?

Finally got my 3rd block in the mail but for the wrong ship Allure should be Anthem. While on board Adventure in September got our 4th. Went to Loyalty to discuss another issue and I mentioned about not getting my block from Anthem said come back next day between 3 and 4:30 if I didn't speak with her you didn't know they were available for Adventure. When I'm on Anthem in December I'll see if they have them. 

This post was not about Capt. Club status, Suite or times sailed it was about the poor service and response from Celebrity. After holding  on up to 2 hrs. 5 times and being cut off  3 times is the point of this post. I was only asking if anyone had any other ideas how I could resolve this issue. Some of the posts are so far from what I was asking I could care less about numbers or status and don't think I should get preference because of it.

Cruise was 5/4/22 9 night Bermuda, Charleston and Newport (cancelled do to rough seas) did not get any OBC do to this but stayed in Charleston 2 nights. I have called 5 times with assurances I'll get the additional 72 points (should have been 144) and have been hung up on 3 times with no call back. The last call said after he read all the notes from 4 other calls the prior agent did nothing. He  put me on hold then stated I would get an email and possibly phone call to rectify the points. We are Elite+ and have stayed in a Suite on all our 15 Summit cruises. This cruise cost $12,000+ . Any input on this issue would be appreciated.

Had lobster tails in CK on my February and April Anthem cruise in fact I was asked if I wanted it  broiled or poached.

Can you order from MDR Menu in CK on Oasis ?

Got an upgrade today for Anthem on 2/27 cruise from a GS to Sky Loft Suite with a bid of $1700. This cruise was booked with FCC from March 2020 not a big price jump since original cruise was low, Actually,  paying less than current booking price.

Called Captains Club around 6 last night and spoke to Heather. As she was checking to see what the problem was it opened up. Heather said one woman called her 5 times and then she could finally open it. Anyway thanks for the advice on this board in trying to resolve the issue got my points for the day.

The website for Power Up Points on POST 393 doesn't work either. Guess I'll have to call or sign up for email. Any other suggestions ?

Clicked on Captain Club Power Up Points for July 15 and the message was: Page requested not available, try your link again. The content for this link may no longer be available. I also tried to link that someone posted on this posting same message. I've already participated in prior Activity with no problem receiving 5 points. The points listed on this email are wrong but on my cruise record there correct. Would like to hear if anyone else has had this issue before I starting calling and being on hold. Thank you.

Do some of our knowledgeable Summit cruisers know who the new Captain other than Capt. Matt is ?  Know one of my favorites Capt. Ioannis I believe is now on Millie.

The promotion was shared at a luncheon we attended 2 weeks ago with the Captain and Senior Officers on Summit that Matt Karandreas Staff Capt. from the Edge would be the new Capt. on the Summit rotation. We are sailing on several Summit cruises next year and look forward to seeing him. We also had dinner with the Capt. and it was confirmed again. Always a great staff and crew on the Summit.

The new Captain on Summit rotation is Matt Karandreas the current Staff Captain on the Edge. He will be starting in August.

Arno I noticed on the Spotlight TV picture of the Summit Officers and Staff a question mark as to who will replace Capt. Charis who went to Millennium. The name you posted was Matt ? I believe it could be Staff Capt. Matt Karandreas from the Edge ? 

Is David still the Captain's Club Host on Summit and for how long ?

We too have sailed out of Bayonne 33 times with 34 coming up this month. Sailed Adventure when all 3 ships were at Cape Liberty in June. Spoke to port/parking people and passengers arriving later were parked all around the open lot bldg. with middle rows 2 deep. Said are these worker cars as we paid for the open lot no there the Anthem/Summit cruisers. We were on the Adventure.  I agree about the workers who take your luggage at times the line is down the road. 

Has anyone considered the parking problems this will cause with 3 ships in Bayonne with an Oasis class ship ? As it is there's not enough space in garage or outdoor lot now. When we sailed on Summit last July they parked cars out of those lots all around the buildings and by original terminal. I also think the terminal is too small to handle the capacity of an Oasis class ship. Watched Travel channel a while back when they did a piece on Oasis I believe out of Miami or Ft. Lauderdale much bigger terminals. When we pay to park it's to be in a secured lot. Would much rather see a Freedom Class than Oasis.

Was the invite for the luncheon in Blue with Officers from Michael's Club Concierge or Capt. Club Host ? Was it for all suites ?

Yes, my husband and I both know Albert a fine gentlemen.On our Summit cruise last July 2016 and MayJuly 2017 of this year we had a wonderful time sharing experiences about life and time spent on the ship. We are booked for April/July of 2018 and look forward to sharing with him again. :ship:
