Why book All Included ? Is it worth it since there are always drink and wifi packages on sale that I see are usually less than the All Included pricing?
Just wanted to get more opinions on All Included. Also, I see that All Included prices vary from cruise to cruise, any suggestions on which cruises have the best All Included prices?
It's still about the MATH. Just because they removed gratuities does not change the fact that there may or may not be value in booking AI. I just priced out a couple of cruises and it appears AI is pretty consistent at $69.85 a day. If you know you can book drinks and internet for less, then book cruise only, if not take the AI. With the sales lately, upgrading to Premium drinks and high speed internet has been less than $12 a day for both so my question would be....can you book premium drinks and high speed internet for less than $82 a day with the current sales? If you are a solo traveler you should book it separate but as a couple, maybe yes...maybe no.

There will be a sheet listing all things Elite and above when you enter your cabin on embarkation day. It will list times and locations for everything and I think the reason these are not on the app is because most people don't really pay attention to the listings and will show up despite not being eligible for the event.

It was a wonderful discovery to learn that the ceiling is magnetic. I used a hook to hang my portable, usb rechargeable fan over my bed when we slept. Pure bliss.
We do the exact same thing and we sleep so much better.

Several people have suggested magnetic hooks for bathroom / cabin.
I'm in Aqua on Eclipse (old design) and Sky Suite on Millennium (new design).
These hooks are quite strong. Do I need to worry about them being next to my electronics?
Thanks.
We were just in a Sky Suite on Millie and the walls were not magnetic like the other cabins. I saw someone say something about magnetic wall by the TV but I never tried there. We were in 6099 but I imaging they are all the same.

I see some websites like cruisemapper suggest the Solarium pool on Eclipse is a lap pool. I don’t think that’s correct is it?
I did swim laps in the Retreat pool on the Beyond. For about 5 minutes.
It's a bit short but I have seen people trying to swim laps in it!

Had been following a 2025 cruise with a particular cabin. Yesterday I checked, that cabin had sold and one nearby (same class etc) was $280 total more even with the "$210 Black Friday savings" So realistically, they've jacked the price of that by almost $500.
I went to buy a couch about 10 years ago....the price was $1800 but the salesman said just wait until this weekend and we are having a 40% off sale. I said "thanks, I will be here Saturday to save some money"!. On Saturday morning I walked into the store, found the same salesman and said "here I am, lets buy that couch"!. The price now marked on the couch was $2999 and it was 40% off with a new price of $1799! This is EXACTLY what the cruise lines to do bait customers into thinking they are saving money!

Every single sale these cruise line has is basically the same. It doesn't matter if it's 75% off or 40% off the first guest and second guest is free. They will adjust the base rates to make all of these "sales" equal the same basic number. You may find some deals on excursions or packages but overall, this sale is no better than last weeks sale or the month prior.

Yes you can. NCL is the only cruise line you can't.
If my memory serves me....NCL does NOT include water in the drink package either!

Can't wait to see where they put the waterslides and kiddie pool!

My husband just checked our reservation for Silhouette in Feb 2024.
He is in our original booked cabin and I am in a different category on a different deck 😮No Move up bids made
Has anyone ever had this happen?
Thank you 😂🤷🏼♀️My wife and I once booked separate casino offers for the same cruise and arranged adjoining rooms for ourselves. The extra bathroom and closet space was great!

Pieces like this have brought hundreds of thousands of dollars and you would think that celebrity would treat it better
The employees are probably too scared to touch it for fear of damaging it! They would have to work 4 lifetimes on a cruise ship to pay for it!

A pretty cool glass sculpture made by the world renown Dale Chihuly.
Sadly, Dale Chihuly hasn't actually blown glass since around 1980ish. He directs the glass blowers in his studios and still makes a number of the designs. That being said, his studio, team of glass artists and designs are amazing.

Does anyone know what if any champagne might be available for purchase at the Murano New Year’s Eve dinner? I’m hoping I can order a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.
Or just bring an even better bottle from home and enjoy it with dinner!

And they didn't have to pay the inflated suite pricing. lol
It's pretty tough to accurately measure the guest experience when you are taking up every Royal and Penthouse Suite on the ship.

They ate in all the venues and they ordered from the regular menu. I have been assured by one of the waiters that their meals were taken from the regular line.
I’m pretty sure there were about 20 people quality control checking those meals they pulled off the “line” before the waiter was allowed to deliver it. If you think they were treated like every other passenger, you are dreaming! The service, food and experience they had was artificially enhanced because of their status!

I am sure every meal they ate was cooked fresh for them unlike the rest of the passengers. I wonder where they ate...the MDR or Luminae because there is a massive difference in food quality between the two venues. I doubt any change for the positive will come from this photo op.

Is your sky suite considered partially obstructed? We like sky suites, but typically are higher up. Enjoy
I think all the Sky Suites on Millie are labeled as S1 and unobstructed. We had 6099 on the Transpacific cruise and had a similar view. All of the Sky Suites minus a few accessible rooms are on the back half of deck 6.

We are E-plus and we find that works well for us. Two bags of laundry each, 240 minutes of Wi-Fi each, and the 5-7 Happy Hour. We don’t need to purchase the AI package and that is a big saving for us.
You forgot the part I enjoy the most....unlimited Specialty coffee at Al Bacio (minus the boozy ones).

I was excited to get the premium beverage ugd last week. Looking at the current and upcoming Millennium sailings I don’t see Grgich Hills anymore. I realize wines by the glass do change regularly. Still very disappointed.
I was on the Millie TransPac and the had the Chardonnay and the Cabernet when we were on board. Those wines are custom branded for Celebrity but there may be issues keeping the stock full while the ship is in Asia. Did you look at all the menus.....I would suggest you look at Luminae's menu as that is where we normally see it. There may have also been a Fume Blanc.

I am wondering if Celebrity offers tables for two, in the main dining room for dinner? Is there someone that I can email ahead of time to request this, if it is even possible? Would trying to switch to Anytime Dining be a better option to get a table for two? (There's currently a waitlist). Any insight is appreciated.
That's all we have been seated at for the last dozen or so cruises post Covid. I know you can request a larger table to dine with others but I'm not sure they are forcing it yet. To be fair, we have only had Select dining so we haven't been assigned a permanent table for any cruise. On our last Royal cruise, we were seated at a table for 8 so I know they are still grouping others together.

That's your opinion. I respect it.
I will only sail on their newest ships, and only in IC and EV staterooms. Few ships of any size or brand have accommodations that match these. In my experience, when I do compare and sail approximations, they are comparable in price.
Sure, smaller ships equal more diverse itineraries. But, I also do land-based trips.
Plus, I love these ships, all the restaurant variety (included), genuine personal service with a butler (never had a bad experience on Celebrity), good drinks from World Class Bar and the specialty dining venues. Works well for me.
I've got two more ICs and one more EV booked next year. But, I mix these trips with in depth land itineraries.
Fair pricing, as I see it. I like what they have for their authentic suites.*
*Sky "Suites" and Celebrity "Suites" don't come with what their other suites include. IMO, Celebrity is duping people into buying these as "suites." They appear to be large(r) rooms without the accouterments of their real suites.**
**Just my opinion. Not down on you if this satisfies what you seek.
I respect your opinion as well. We don’t really care about new and flashy and we tend to look for a more relaxed vibe. 100% agree with you on SS and CS because they are not fully inclusive as those suites should be. After we got a taste of less than 50% occupancy post Covid, we really don’t like the crowds anymore and have gravitated towards smaller ships. For us, the room size is usually smaller but the service is still stellar. We haven’t completely moved on from X but are starting to enjoy other lines more.

Can I ask which lines? We don't care about casino's or shows. We want a pool, place to eat and comfy bed.
Viking, Regent, Seabourn and Silversea cost less than the top tier suites and we prefer less people and better food/drink. We may have a smaller cabin on these ships but the service and amenities make up for it. JMHO!

Celebrity is clearly appealing to those who want real service, real suites, and a genuine premium service.
If I actually want a super premium product, I would not be sailing on Celebrity. Sorry, I have sailed in plenty of suites and we now spend far less than the super premium suites on X to sail other lines with way better everything (we don't really care about shows or casino).

Tuscan Grill on Millennium (in Luminae)
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
We had a bunch of OBC to burn on our Transpacific cruise in September and ended up having 2 meals in Tuscan Grill. My filet (both nights) was the best steak I ate the entire cruise. We were in Luminae for the sailing and I just looked at the menus and picked a couple of nights that the Luminae menu didn't excite me. You can usually make a same day reservation atTuscan Grill as it's never very busy.
