  1. Received from NCL:

As part of our Partners First commitment to continue to invest in your success, we are excited to announce the debut of a new program, CruiseNext // CruiseNext Ultimate.

As a replacement to the Cruise Rewards Program, CruiseNext offers your clients the opportunity to purchase deposits for future cruises and CruiseNext Ultimate allows them to book a specific future cruise while they are onboard. This provides the opportunity to secure another great vacation experience to look forward to, at a great value and with the best selection of accommodations.

What makes this program so exciting is that the new reservation will automatically be transferred to your agency upon completion of the cruise! This protects the integrity of your client relationship and means that you'll receive commission on any future cruises your clients book while onboard. There is nothing more for you to do once your clients return home except help them plan what to do on their next vacation.

Norwegian is committed to always putting you first and CruiseNext is yet another area where we are working hard to ensure that you have every opportunity for success.

See the attached examples of the collateral being distributed to guests onboard...

The following schedule reflects launch dates across the fleet:

June 6 & 7 - Norwegian Breakaway, Jewel, Pearl, Pride of America, Getaway and Gem

    June 12 - Norwegian Dawn

    July 5 & 6 - Norwegian Star and Sun

    July 12 - Norwegian Epic

    July 20 - Norwegian Spirit

    July 24 - Norwegian Jade

    November - Norwegian Escape

seashark, are these new incentives in leu of or, an addition to any current promos NCL may run when you are ready to book?

Anyway thank you for the information.

Great user name BTW. A bar in San Francisco had a drink called a Seashark

Have no idea why I was compelled to tell you that.

  2. Does anyone know if I purchase 2 cases of wine in St. Thomas and ship them back home, do I still pay the tax because I'm exceeding the customs allowance.

The story is my brother is a vintage wine collector. In St. Thomas there is a store that has a particular brand/vintage he wants. It is less then half price of the stores in the states. And they are only one of a select few retailers in the Caribbean that carry it.

Any suggestions? He does not mind paying tax, he just wants a large quantity of it.

  3. All my trips are in one 21 inch roll on that never leaves my side.... Plane...airport...cruise port...always with me

5 days...12 days....21 days.....still just the 21 inch bag although I am thinking of moving down to a 19 inch bag instead

My family travels the same way although I will admit that when we fly we do check a 21 inch bag with extra shoes liquids snorkel stuff. Nothing very expensive or important though

Less is more is my travel method

Sent from my iPad using Forums

PLEASE, PLEASE I beg you to teach my wife how to pack. She does not believe me when I tell her. "Lay out all the items you want to pack and take 1/3 of the items". Perhaps she will listen to a stranger with packing wisdom[emoji16]

  4. I just booked the vow renewal package for my parents on their upcoming June 6th Jewel cruise . It is $499 and includes the vow ceremony performed by a ship officer , renewal cake , champagne toast for the couple , a single red rose , a professional portrait, and the renewal certificate . We added cake and champagne for the guests and dinner at Le Bistro after the ceremony . You can set it up for any sea day except embarkation day .

Thank you for taking time to reply.

Funny, I think my original marriage certificate in 1995 cost us about $15.

But, my wife is worth it. Anyone who can put up with me deserves something special. Unlike you, it's just the two of us.

  5. I did - back in March of 2012 for our 5th Anniversary. It was incredible. Truly just amazing (it was just the two of us). Memories of a lifetime.

Funny, at the time, I thought the pricing was high. But, my DH had been hospitalized the Fall prior and was on F/T oxygen; and all he really wanted was that renewal. So, I bit the bullet and set it up. Unfortunately, my husband passed away last year, just a few weeks short of our 7th Anniversary. That Vow Renewal is an amazing memory I hold so very close.

I'm sure the packages may have changed; however, any questions at all, please let me know and I'll be happy to go through any details with you.

    Happy Anniversary!!! :D

So sorry to hear that. Thank you so much for sharing that story. Very touching. God bless you...

  6. My husband tried to surprise me with an NCL cruise for Christmas once - also our second. I received an email from NCL letting me know about it - something about my latitudes account... I can't remember exactly, but the cat was out of the bag.

Has anyone in the history of mankind ever pulled this off.

I even covered the payment up by using my brothers visa to pay. I should tell him[emoji12]

  7. I also have a surprise cruise booked for my husband, we sail the end of June. Booked in March, so tough not to tell him but still a secret. My suggestion is if she has a myncl account get in there and change her email. Also keep an eye on the mail as I have received a few flyers that said you booked your cruise now book your excursions.

Great present and I hope it can be kept a secret : )

    1) Before I booked I created a gmail account. So I have that base covered.

    2) she does not have an NCL account

    3) we always fly down to my cousins after thanksgiving (they live in Miami) so that's why I chose that time to cruise. Our actual anniversary is in Oct.

    4) Cant tell her sister, she will post it on FB[emoji3]

  8. The friends/family sail free is killing me.

I was looking at a cruise & the pcc said that the 3rd person free goes away after this weekend. I was trying to figure out if he's giving me a line because he just wants me to book today

Keep in mind the allotted space for KSF or 3/4SF promo is dwindling down. What was in inventory in March when the promo dropped, is practically gone. You're seeing the leftover crumbs of the original promo.
