mexylopez Posted April 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2017 We are doing a Med/Adriatic Cruise in September and are planning to extend our holiday after the cruise for a week or two by train and don't want to haul our luggage around. I cannot seem to find much info on a luggage service from Venice to Canada. Has anyone gone this route before? Thanks! Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted April 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2017 HAL's recommended service is Luggage Forward. This is different from Luggage Direct, the service that takes bags to the airport. This can be used between your home and the cruise. It isn't cheap, but it's worth it for the convenience. From the FAQs: Luggage Forward is a worldwide door-to-door service allowing you to have your bags picked up at your home and delivered to your stateroom. Upon disembarkation, your bags are delivered directly back home. Luggage Forward offers: International service Ability to bypass unpredictable checked baggage fees No risk of airlines losing luggage Full money back plus $500 on-time guarantee Book online at www.luggageforward.com/hollandamerica or call Luggage Forward directly. From the U.S. dial 1‐866‐416‐7447, from the UK dial +44 2033 754769 or +1‐617‐482‐1100 if calling from any other location.
