erniebernie Posted September 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2017 We have the chance of a cruise on QM2 at a very good rate the only hesitation i have is that the cabin is Deck 12 interior, not bothered about interior but just a bit concerened about Deck 12 and being that high up we are normaly on 4,5,or6. Is there much more noticeable roll up there.( not the worlds best sailor but love it)! Also are there fencing lessons on board I missed out on the QV to many other things to do.Thanx
Rare s.s.France Posted September 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Hi, I never experienced rolling on the QM2. I was in Deck 9 and 10 an 11. The stabilisators are working fine. Only the pitching can become noticable particularly towards the front end. But this applies to all decks.
milamber Posted September 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2017 You won't have a problem on deck 12 on the QM2. If it does get a bit rough it will be exciting rather than nauseating. They definitely did have fencing the last time we were aboard in Nov last year, but didn't the two times before that, so not sure if it's become a regular feature or not. robbie_3 Posted September 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Hadn't noticed much movement at all on deck 11 during our round QM2 Caribbean cruise in 2015 and we had no problems sleeping. We were mid ship.
