But looking at the Southwest web site, it looks like you can only take 1 battery under 300 Watts. I have spoken to Southwest and have received different answers each time. Due to the lack of response to your previous post doubt that you'll get additional information. Due to conflicting answers from SW representative you might consider just acting on the worst case scenario which is: Take the spare with you. If at the airport you're told it's not allowed SW will confiscate it and you can collect it upon your return. If on your originating flight it's allowed but the return flight it's questions it the a precedence has already been set allowing you to bring the spare on board since the originating flight approved.
