Freeascanbe Posted January 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2007 Are there car rentals available near where the cruise ships disembark? Thanks in advance for your help!!
aussie jb Posted January 20, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2007 certainly are - the desks are right at Canada Place as you disembark, all the major players.
snacker Posted January 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2007 Hi I have a related question - are the rental cars on site or do you have to check in at Canada Place and then take a shuttle? cab? to get the car? I'm looking at getting a rental car to drive from Vancouver to Seattle. I'm on Royal Caribbean so I think we'll probably be coming into Ballantyne Pier. I'm wondering if I'd take a cab to Canada Place to the rental car kiosk to check in, and then have to take another cab/shuttle to actually pick up the car? Thanks. aussie jb Posted January 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Snacker, we hired our car through Hertz thinking that we had to pick it up at the Seymour St. yard. But when we disembarked we went to the courtesy desk to ask if there was a shuttle we were told our car was at Canada Place. Not only was it there, but we decided to upgrade and there was still a car there for us. Not too sure about Ballantyne though. That was our experience with Hertz, I don't know about the others
jerhardt Posted January 26, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2007 Most major players have secured parking in the uderground for the cruise ship season where they keep the reserved cars.
weathermom Posted February 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2007 Most major players have secured parking in the uderground for the cruise ship season where they keep the reserved cars. Alamo /National have cars on site. The rest shuttle you offsite.
GlassGirl Posted February 12, 2007 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2007 Do any of the rental places at Canada Place appear to have issues with one-way rentals to Seattle?
