TexCruise371 Posted January 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Anyone out there ever cruise on the Crown Monarch? We were on her when she was brand new and her second cruise in the U.S. from West Palm Beach. The company that I am a sales rep for booked the whole ship. It was awsome. I've been looking for her and I found her. Looks like she is a casino ship in Japan.:(
Cruise_nut Posted January 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2007 I remember cruising on the Crown Monarch years ago. A 5 day New England cruise out of NY. The best part was that she was so small that we actually cruised though the Cape Cod Canal. That was great!
daveco58 Posted March 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2007 Had my second honeymoon on the Crown Monarch, in her maiden season, out of Palm Beach. Brand new, beautiful ship, half empty, best service EVER. And really rough seas for a couple of nights - nearly everyone sea-sick. A great itenerary that included Key West, one of the best days ashore I have ever had on a cruise. I dont mind the Mega Ships, but I wish there were some smaller boats still sailing, that werent arm and a leg expensive iteneraries.
radtel Posted January 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2018 We sailed over Christmas 1991 on her. She had sustained a lot of damage from the previous week's major storm. Why am I writing this now? We are docked in Aruba beside the Fairwinds and there is a lot of similarities between the 2 (including history).
