parking/shuttle at Port Canaveral

Does anyone know of a decent hotel for night before cruise--somewhere we can leave the car and shuttle to Port Canaveral?

We have stayed at what is now American's Best Value Inn in Cocoa for years whenever we leave from Port Canaveral, Lauderdale or Miami. (it used to be an Econo Lodge.) It is easy to get to from 95. They have a shuttle to the port which is now $5-- less that staying at the port and our clean room is under $100.

We met the same couple twice who drive from Tampa and just park at the hotel only for the cruse. They told us it cost them $30 no matter how long the use.

We used Embassy Suites in the past and it was amazing. We only used their parking services ( around $30-$40 dollars for the week) and took a taxi to port. It was nice considering they have 24 hr security in the parking lot and it's a steal compared to parking at the port. The hotel was beautiful as well, if we needed a room for the night I would have no problem staying there.
