looking for beach/bar/food close to the port

Ten years ago I went on a cruise with a friend of mine and we had a port stop at George Town. We had lunch and beers at a great low-key bar and hung out at the beach in front for a few hours. It was so nice. I would love to make a quick stop like that on our upcoming Celebrity cruise. Just a few hours at a nearby beach with a great, friendly bar. Somewhere we can possibly walk to, but we don't mind taking a cab. We just want a chill atmosphere. Anyone have any recs for me?

We just returned from Grand Cayman. Go to Hemingways on 7 mile beach. Fantastic!! Our taxi driver recommended it to us and it was a winner. The kids loved it!

We were told by our driver that there would be a $5 charge for umbrella and lounger. They did not charge us anything except for our food and drink -- and there were 9 of us!!
