Just back from the Canaries (Well nearly a month back now :(). I went on the Oceana

You don't say when your cruise is, which may affect drinks prices.

What I bought (From memory)

red wine (bottle) £11.75 - £14.50 (obviously it goes higher!:) )

Lager - draught from £1.85 pint (happy hour) to £2.35

Lager - bottled - £2.10

(which lager you get depends on which bar you are at - on Oceana at least)

Special drinks (sailaway specials etc) - I have 2 bills for £1.85.

I took tours at each port (I was travelling on my own and knew I would not get off the ship if I didn't pre book) and they were all good. The best in my opinion was the all day one in La Palma visiting the volcanos, even if I twisted my ankle and almost fell in! (they are not currently active:D ). That might have been because they fed us and we got to taste the local cuisine.

All the ports could be done on their own, although perhaps with the aid of the shuttle bus/boat - though I didn't get off alone (was working up to it, but ran out of ports).

Not been on Oriana, so can't help there, but I know others on here have.

If you have any specific questions about the Canaries or P+O, I will try to answer them.
