San Diego to Ensenada...How to get there?

Hi:

We are taking a cruise on the Infinity to Hawaii out of Ensenada and I just found out that our cruiseline won't offer the transfer if we deviate our air travel (which we are).

Can anyone suggest a reliable and easy way to get to and from Ensenada from San Diego?

Thanks so much!

Hi Patty,

The Legend of the Seas just sailed from Ensenada yesterday the 27th. I noticed that two couples shared a limo. Sorry but I don't know what limo company or what they paid for the limo. The cruise line used the Coral Hotel & Marina to check in guests and then is was a 10 minute drive to the ship. The hotel from the San Diego airport is about 90 miles.
We had taken public transportation from Tijuana to go to Foxploration which is just south of TJ and found it to be unreliable. We caught the bus to get us down there as scheduled but on our return trip back to TJ our 4 o'clock bus didn't show and we ended up catching the 6 o'clock bus. There are also some small excursion type cruises that run between San Diego and Ensenada - that would be much more relaxing I would think. Those types of excursions leave from about 3 miles from the airport in San Diego and must end up quite near the ship, wouldn't they? I'll so some searching and get back to you.

Well it looks like a bigger deal than you might want but here's the link anyway:

You might want to look into charter buses too - there are tons of them.
