detailed itinerary - eastern Mediterranean

We will be on the Star Clipper for the May 23 Eastern Mediterranean cruise. So far, I only know of a daily itinerary, but nothing very detailed, such as arrival and departure times. I couldn't fine more on their website. Anyone have further information? Anyone else going?

We are planning on arriving in Athens the day before. Would like to see the Acropolis. I assume that we would not have time on the day of departure. Is this a good plan, or should we allow an extra day?

I also plan to arrive 1 day early. You never know when you will be delayed in your flight to your destination.

I know of a group of 30 that missed the "boat" when their flight arrived 5 hours late. Instead of landing at 11:30 AM, they landed at 4:30 pm and the ship left at 5 PM. Yes thery though the ship would wait for them, because they purchased air from the cruise company.

I think the Star Clipper or Flyer will depart about 6 PM. If you stay near the Acropolis, you can visit and then take a taxi to the Star Clipper berth in Pireaus. Also you may enjoy a visit to the National Archaeological Museum.

We will be doing a b/b on the Star Clipper. We be on the May 16 & 23 Sailing.

We will arrive in Athens on May 13 for 3 nights pre stay.

Please e-mail me directly for hotel info.
