Best snorkel spot???

We will be arriving in May and will dock from 10a-6p (9a-5p local time)

Looking for the best on your own snorkel or excursion (don't want to be on a boat for an hr getting to a snorkel spot tho) for this port. Don't really care for the stingrays...

what are you metrics for 'best'

a short walk from the main tender landing is Eden Rock Dive Shop with shore access to Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto which are excellent sites - but they are 'big boy' snorkeling. The water is a bit deep - no standing up.

a lil way down the road is Sunset House; similar snorkeling and not the chance of crowds you see at Eden which is closer to the tenders.

There are other places ... farther away ... some shallower .....

Smith's Cove is very nice if you have your own gear ..... Eden and Sunset House have dive shops with rental gear, smith's has simple restrooms and an outside shower to rinse .....
