Ramada Plaza - Hollywood, FL

We just stayed here 1/14/05. Got three families a total of 4 rooms on Priceline for $50 each bid. All rooms were doubles; okay for the twelve of us. It took limo 20-25 minutes to get to Ramada Plaza from FLL due to heavy downpour of rain and lots of traffic on highway (3:00pm on Friday afternoon). After checking in, we easily walked to restaurants, ice cream parlor, grocery store and drug store. The next morning the limo returned to take us to port in Miami. He picked us up at 11:00am and we were walking on to Navigator of the Seas by noon. We dropped our carry-on luggage in our staterooms and were enjoying lunch in Windjammer by 12:30pm. No traffic, no lines, no waiting, no problems! This hotel adequately satisfied our needs, which was one pre-cruise overnight stay. We bid for a 2-star and that is what we got. The rooms were clean, the staff was courteous, and the amenities were adequate for our needs. The only problem we had was from the rain, definitely not the Ramada's fault.
