Helicopter View of Active Volcano

We are cruising the POA and stopping at ports (Maui, Kona, Hilo & Kauai) and were wondering recommendations for excursions allowng us to view an active volcano where the lava is going into the coast. Suggestions please on which port location is best and actual name of excursion we can book on POA if possible. Thanks.

Hilo is the best port for a helicopter excursion over the active volcano. There are several companies that fly from Hilo Airport. Norwegian offers a helicopter excursion but you could also book one on your own.
