Empress of the Seas--show times?

We have MTD and I'm trying to figure out what time to make our reservations for so we can make it to the nightly shows. We usually like to eat on the later side (around 8pm ish). What time are the shows and would it be before or after dinner? What time should I make our dining reservation for the MDR to ensure we'll make it to the shows? There are four of us and this will be our first time on RCCL...going on the August 27 5 night sailing to Cuba and Key West. Thanks in advance for your help!

Shows are geared to early or late seating. If you make your reservations around 8:00 you should be fine.
