Rock And Roll History Photo Op Site In St.Thomas: Creeque Alley

We were in St. Thomas on RCCL in the first week of September and we had a tasty meal and drinks at the Side Street Cafe. While talking to the very nice owner, we were surprised to learn that the Mama's and Papa's (California Dreaming) started their careers upstairs at Duffy's boarding house (now offices and a watch repair shop). They detailed their experience and history in one of their popular songs, Creeque Alley.

I am surprised that more people don't take a picture at the Creque Alley Iron Gate at the Side Street Cafe, since it is a great photo op location for early rock and roll history fans.

Here are more links to the history of the Mama's and Papa's and their link to Creeque Alley (Creque Alley) at St.Thomas:

The Side Street Cafe has great food, drinks, and ownership. I sure the owner would appreciate your business and your publicity as well. I am not associated with this business (just a cruiser), but they treated our travel group very well.

Correction. The name of the restaurant is the Side Street Pub, not the Side Street Cafe. -Cal2
