There are so many. Here is the one I'm thinking of taking on Discovery. Is this enough Antarctica time? Would you recommend Shetland Islands or South Georgia Islands?

Sat Cruise begins in Ushuaia, Argentina 6:00pm

Sun Drake Passage (Cruising)

Mon Deception Island, South Shetland Islands

Mon King George Island, South Shetland Islands

Tue Arctowski Station, King George Island

Wed Elephant Island (Point Wild)

Thu Antarctic Sound

Thu Hope Bay

Thu Gerlache Strait

Fri Waterboat Point

Fri Lemaire Channel

Sat Half Moon Island, Antarctica

Sun Cape Horn (Cruising)

Mon Ushuaia, Argentina /Buenos Aires, Argentina

Disembark and fly to Buenos Aires. Hotel overnight.

Since no one has responded, I'll put in my two cents. Itinerary/# of days look pretty standard for Peninsula trips that do not include the Falklands and S Georgia Island. Keep in mind, however, that weather will dictate where the ship actually ends up going and where landings are made. All posted itineraries are just "hope to visit."

This looks like the itinerary I would do because of limited time, however, if you are going on Discovery you may have a better chance to get off the shp if you pick an itinerary with the Falklands and South Georgia (just based on what I have read, Discovery only "guarantees" two stops in Antartica).
