Pinones Question

We are going on a back to back cruise on the Carnival Liberty next month. We've been to San Juan a few times and wanted a different experience. Can anyone tell me about Pinones? I've heard it's a great spot to find local food and walk along the beach. How far is it from Carnival's cruise port? Would we need to take a taxi or could we walk there? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

if Piniones is the place you have to see yes taxi or tour there. The rain forest is great, i just went for the weekend and finally went to Pork high way and had a blast!
