briternik Posted April 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2004 We are dropping off our rental car at Budget and letting them shuttle us to the port. I was thinking of having my husband drop us off with the luggage and then having him come back on his own, but I don't like the thought of the "eternal" wait with the kids without him. On the other hand, I'm concerned about having them shuttle all of us and our 8 pieces of luggage. Does anyone else have experience with this and what is your suggestion. Thanks. cgc33a Posted April 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2004 how about dropping the bags off (keep your ID & docs etc) and then go return the car. The bags will be on the way to the room(hopefully) that much quicker & it will be easier to put you all in the shuttle van back to the port without bags. LuVermont Posted April 30, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2004 We just returned last weekend from our Mariner cruise. We used Budget. Our family of four got to Budget at 11:00 AM on Sunday morning, hopped on their 15 passenger van (only ones on the van) and our 8 pieces of luggage and arrived at the port in five minutes. It was not a problem at all. I think it would be more of a headache going back and forth between the pier and Budget.
