Afternoon and evening in Anchorage, wondering about Alyeska Tram?

Would you please give us recommendations on this tour. Is there enough time to enjoy what there is to see? Thank you for any suggestions:)

The views from the top of the tram are beautiful!! One of those places (which techinically all of Alaska is) that pictures don't do it justice. The resort itself is on beautiful. You can get off on the top of the tram and hike around and/or hike down the mountain. There is also a shop and cafe at the top.
