Elevator at Trastevere train station - not working

Hi,

Just aheads up for anyone taking train to Civi. The elevator at Trastevere train staion is NOT working. We took train yesterday (Tuesday Oct. 22) & had to schlep our suitcases up & down stairs. So be prepared!!

Other than that, train was pretty easy. Also, did not see shuttle bus from train stn. in Civi to port entrance. Ended up walking to our hotel (which is near port entrance). Very doable. Took about 20 min. at a slow pace.

Finally after all these years Trenitalia are finally installing elevators between the platforms and underground subway (sottospassagio) at Civitavecchia station . Also being installed at Lucca currently.

Also as at 10/17 all elevators currently working at La Spezia, and installed over last year at St Margherita/Portofino .
