Kosi Posted October 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2017 Do you think there may be a better side than the other on way from NYC to FL/Bahamas..We would love sunny later on in the day. .. so which side do you all suggest.? Many thanks.. this could be my last cruise...health wise. . thank you for any information.
SailBadtheSinner Posted October 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2017 If you prefer the sun after noon to sunset and the cruise is going north to south, then you should book a cabin on the starboard side, all else being equal. SBtS

I like the starboard side out of NYC to see the Statue of Liberty from my balcony, whereas I have missed it on the way back if the ship comes in early. You can also see some of the launch pads when you approach Cape Canaveral. In terms of sun, it's going to be half the cruise either on the way down or the way back.
