Soon the HOLLAND AMERICA newest ship and last in the VISTA CLASS ms Noordam IV will be outfitted with the equipment to be part of the Plug In a Ship Program started in Seattle, WA where there Company HQ are now.

 

This helps the environment immensely as no diesel engines are running to release particulate matter and Carbon Dioxide etc... into the air and surrounding areas there. The SHIP(s) are plugged in to the Electric Power GRIS system and run on that helping save our environment.;)

 

Each time a ship is in it cost them about (+-) $5000.00 USD for this eSavings.

 

Imagine your electric bills.. what no electric utility stock dividends at only a 15% tax rate either.... EG: PEG/DTE/DUK etc.. all NYSE like Holland America Parent too CCL:NYSE

 

 

We applaud/laud Holland America for all its leading edge environmental attributes they so choose to go foward with under the direction of CCL which has done well this way...:D :D
