baggal Posted November 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2017 Can anyone who has recently been to Cuba since the new regulations comment on buying cigars and rum? To avoid buying fakes, we've been cautioned to only buy these items in Cuban government authorized stores. But, the U.S. government doesn't want us to financially support the Cuban government regime. I'm curious what happens at U.S. customs when you disembark. Do they ask where you purchased your cigars and rum? And worse, is anything confiscated? And in general, were there longer than usual lines at customs and immigration? We're leaving in two weeks and I'd like to be prepared. Thanks for any info you can provide.
