Time Zone Question

I am sittin here trying to figure out what dive shop to use when I go to St Thomas Sept 23 2011. I was thinking Blue Island Dives.

However I read something on there website. About no showing due to the time zone. If we arrive in St thomas at 7 am is that the same as NYC? It says we have to be on time so I am nervous about what time do I have to show up at the pier?

It depends on how your Cruise Ship is with moving the clocks. NCL and Princess have you move your clock ahead one hour when leaving on the cruise. Carnival does not. Local time for St. Thomas is one hour ahead of Eastern time.
