Caye Caulker Questions

Thinking about going here with son age 22. Few questions,

1-how much was the golf cart rental and website for them and was it worth it.

2-Lunch recommendations with maybe lobster or shrimp but can't handle fish with heads.

3- I have seen restaurants on trip advisor with prices$20etc. on their boards in front of the restaurant, is this US or Belieze?

When we visited this island, we did it with Coral Breeze. They go to the island prior to going snorkeling. Some choose to just stay on the island while the rest of the group snorkels (for a cheaper price). Then the entire group meets back up at a designated spot. When we first arrived, our guide made a phone call to have golf carts delivered for those that wanted them. I do not know the cost, but it was not necessary to reserve in advance. In terms of restaurants, we ate at a little roadside stand . It was obviously very popular with the locals and those staying on the island. I know I didn't answer your questions, but maybe someone else will pop in.
