midnight buffets on rccl

It's true. The number of midnight buffets depends on the number of nights you are on board. The 3-night, I don't think we got one. The 7-night, there was one midnight Gala Buffet. The 11-night, there were three; a midnight chocolate buffet, midnight gala buffet, and midnight Caribbean buffet on Caribbean night.

When we were on Navigator 7 night Western itinerary there were two buffets. One was the gala buffet on the second formal night. The other was a poolside buffet, I think on Carribean night. It was called the Corona Beach Party. Some ships, I don't know which ones, have a chocolate buffet.

Although there is no longer a nightly buffet, don't worry, there is still plenty of opportunity to eat late at night. On the Voyager-class ships there is the Cafe Promenade which serves pizza, sandwiches, pastries, fruit, coffee, cookies 24 hours a day. They also pass hor d'oerves in the casino late at night so you don't have to stop losing your money to get a bite to eat.

On Voyager last year, there was the poolside Caribbean buffet and the grand buffet. I don't know about anyone else, but I am not usually hungry at that hour, so the two buffets are fine.

As of March, 09, they do one big buffet the last night with photo ops beforehand. There was also a poolside appetizer type buffet mid-week, but it was so crowded you couldn't get near it. When we finally got through, most things were gone.:mad::mad:
