Jetski in St. Maarten???

We went to St. Maarten three years ago and my husband was able to rent a jet ski at the beach right off the pier...does anyone know if that is still available and how much it costs?

we rented them at Great Bay beach which is right at the water taxi stop/Front Street. They cost $40.00 per 1/2 hour. This was January 2004.

Our ship stopped in St. Maarten on 10/8/04. Yes, you can rent jet ski's on Great Bay beach which is where the water ferry takes you to . It was a little bit of a walk down the beach to where the rental stand was. The beach was very nice. I believe the price to rent a jet ski was $40.00 for 1/2 hour. The price in Barbados was really cheap at $20.00 for a 1/2 hour. Have fun.
