How is Buenos Aires these days?

if anyone has been to Buenos Aires recently I’d be interested in your view of the city as far as safety and political unrest. I’ve been reading about the runaway inflation and strikes by unions because of economic hardships. Are things getting out of hand there because of the turmoil or am I just seeing reports of isolated incidents? We’re supposed to be spending three days there in December before boarding our cruise and deciding whether to make final payment or cancel. Any first hand reports would be appreciated.
