Visas for Turkey

We will be taking a Mediterranean Cruise in June that starts and finishes in Barcelona. During that cruise we will be making a stop in Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey.

It is my understanding that even though we would need a Visa if the cruise started or ended in Turkey, that we won't need one to get off the ship during the day our ship is at that port.

Is this correct?

The cruise line will get the necessary transit visas. You do not need one.
