Dolphin discovery

We did the Royal Swim VIP a couple weeks ago. After the dolphin activities, we were led over to the manatee tank. It was not swimming with them, but standing in the water while a handler walked back and forth feeding the manatee so we could see and touch her.

I was not expecting this, as it is not listed in the inclusions, but it actually looked like people from all the tanks were brought to that area, so it may be that due to it being low season they were allowing it. It also put everyone on the side of the enclosure where they collect the life jackets.

I think the Royal Swim is worth it over the Swim Adventure, as you get to do 2 different "rides" with the dolphins, the dorsal swim and toe push, which were both scary but worth it. Be prepared to taste the sea water! My husband has mobility issues, so was not able to do the toe push, as we found it was painful to have the dolphins pushing you up from the water with their noses.
