Carnival Glory 7/28

Did anyone in the Baltimore area miss this cruise because of a canceled JetBlue flight? We were to leave BWI at 7am 7/28. My flight was cancelled at midnight and we were unable to get another flight to make the cruise. The flight was cancelled because the crew did not make it into Baltimore because of the weather elsewhere.The problem is, I bought the insurance and they are denying my claim even though I sent them verification that the flight was cancelled due to weather. Did anyone else have this issue? I had been planning this cruise for at least a year and have never been on one. :( Any advice?

Not sure about what to do other than find out why it was denied from the insurance company. Only advice I have is to fly in a day or 2 before your cruise. Things like this happen and it leaves you no time to come up with an alternative plan. Sorry you missed the ship. Could you have flown to meet it? You would have needed Passports of course for that.
