Any new updates on the status of Dawn Beach?

We were there probably 10-15 years ago and we had a wonderful day - although I remember at the time they were recovering from a hurricane a few years before that.

 

I saw some posts from April, but no substantial information - just wondering if anyone had an update since then. We will be in St. Maarten in early December (first time back since our previous experience) and were hoping to be able to visit Dawn Beach!
